Liantong Huasheng,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a wholly-owned company of China Unicom (CHU),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], reports that China Unicom will increase its CDMA outsourcing by 50% next year.
This will increase it from the current 6.5 million a year to about 10 million a year. LH says that China Unicom is doing so to enrich the mobile phone types for its C network and lower CDMA prices for consumers.
Yu Yingtao, general manager of LTHS,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], says that his company will sell about 6.5 million mobile phones this year,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which accounts for about 30% of the total CDMA mobile phone sales in China. Yu introduces that middle and low-end CDMA mobile phone outsourcing will account for at least 50% of next year's outsourcing and double module high-end mobile phones take about 10%.
LH is mainly engaged in the mobile phone customization,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], outsourcing and distribution for China Unicom.
