A modern theater was shown to the public to recall the most memorable moment in Portuguese history. President Cavaco Silva, Prime Minister Jose Socrates and other high-ranking officials attended the celebration. <br />"It is a crucial moment that people show quality of work, strength, will and courage," said Socrates when talking about the present severe economic situation that the country is facing. <br />The presidential palace in Belem opened Tuesday to the public for free.
