The Start of Miranda Lambert's Career
In 2002, Lambert toured the Texas music circuit and placed two of her songs on the charts. In 2003, Lambert moved to Nashville to appear on the show, Nashville Star, where she placed third. Even though Lambert placed third in the competition, she went on to sign with Sony Music, a sponsor of the show.

Lambert was raised on the likes of Jerry Jeff Walker, Merle Haggard and Guy Clark. Lambert entered her first country contest, at the age of ten, with her father accompanying her on the guitar. She sang "Daddy's Hands" by Holly Dunn. Lambert decided to enter this contest after she saw Garth Brooks in concert.
Lambert heard of the Tru-Value country talent contest when she was just sixteen. She decided to enter and placed very well in the competition. Lambert started to appear on the same show that helped launch Leann Rimes's Johnny High Country Music Review. The show was based out of Arlington cheap air max 97, Texas.
The Road to Success
Miranda Lambert is a down home, country girl from Lindale, Texas. She was born on November 10, 1983. Rick, Lambert's father, is a songwriter and country guitarist, but during the week Lambert's parents run a detective agency. Family and friends are often gathered at the Lambert's home for a good time and the enjoyment of country music.
Lambert's debut song, Kerosene, placed #1 on the Billboard Country in 2005. Lambert is currently making new music and is still that sweet southern girl from Lindale, Texas. She is currently dating country music star, Blake Shelton.

Miranda Lambert's last play in high school was Annie Get Your Gun. She graduated early so she could focus on her music career. In 2001, Lambert's father put up the funding of $2000 to showcase his daughter's songs. Lambert's brother air max ltd shoes, Luke, created a website to help promote the upcoming country star. Her mother, Bev, drove Lambert to every radio station under the sun to help promote as well.
After the contest, Lambert starting filling up her room with photos of country stars. At age thirteen, Lambert starting attending Nashville's Fan Fair festivities on an annual basis. Not long after, she was a huge autograph collector. When Lambert turned fourteen, her dad bought her a guitar, but she was not very interested in playing.
Shortly after the Johnny High Country Music Review, Lambert went to Nashville to attend a business-music seminar. This led to a music demo for Lambert, but unfortunately air max tn plus, Lambert did not like the four songs the panel had picked for her. When she went back home she asked her dad to show her how to play that guitar he bought. Lambert had the dream of writing her own songs, ones that she would absolutely love to sing and play.

While Lambert was in Nashville, she placed second out of 400 for the role of Tammy Wynette in the musical Stand by Your Man. Lambert formed her Texas band at the age of seventeen, and landed her first professional gig. It was at the well-known venue, The Gypsy Tea Room, in Dallas, Texas. Lambert wanted to finish high school, so closer to home she got involved with shows at the Reo Palm Isle Ballroom in Longview, Texas.
The Reo Palm Isle Ballroom was built in the 1930's and previously showcased famous musicians and musical groups such as Willie Nelson and Elvis Presley. It is the oldest operating ballroom in Texas.
