Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana is hosting its 6th Annual Steak & Burger Event on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Avalon Manor in Merrillville. Festivities begin at 6:00 PM.
This year, Walter Payton Jersey is headlining the event as the Keynote Speaker. At the age of 12, Jarrett had the distinct honor of inducting his father, Walter Payton Jersey, into the NFL Hall of Fame. An all state soccer player his sophomore year, Jarrett Walter Payton Jersey begin playing organized football in his junior year of high school. During his college career, Walter Payton Jersey played in five major college bowl games and was named MVP of the Orange Bowl in 2004. In 1996, he carried the Olympic Torch through Chicago for the Atlanta Summer Games. During his professional football career, he played for the NFL Tennessee Titans, and CFL’s Montreal Alouettes and Toronto Argonauts. The Chicago Slaughter, premier indoor football team in the Chicagoland area, signed Jarrett Walter Payton Jersey as the team’s running back for the 2010 season. He also hosts his own radio show and does motivational speaking around the country.
