An earthquake measuring 5.1 degrees on the Richter scale hit eastern Cuba Monday, Cuba's National Seismology Center said.
The epicenter was monitored at Playa Cazonal in Santiago Province, some 860 km away from Havana,Wedding dresses, with a depth of 25 km, the center said.
Apart from Santiago, the earthquake was also felt in the provinces of Granma, Guantanamo and Holguin.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to properties.
The region had been hit by dozens of earthquakes this year,Designer Jewelry, among which the strongest one measuring 5.8 degrees took place in Guantanamo on March 20, causing no casualties but damage to some buildings. |
