| At the invitation of Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan Tiffany Rings, Burkina Faso President Blaise Compaore on Friday arrives in the Nigerian capital Abuja to participate in an extraordinary summit of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) on the Cote d'Ivoire crisis.
A statement from the Burkina Faso presidential press service said the West African sub-regional leaders will once more try to find a solution to a crisis that has been raging in Cote d'Ivoire since the Nov. 28 presidential run-off. Some observers believe that all possibilities including a military option will be explored to try and get Cote d'Ivoire out of the crisis Tiffany, which can take the country back to a civil war. |
