Coach Todd Haley has repeatedly said the Chiefs need to use all of the 45 players available to them on game day if they’re going to be successful. To that end, he said he spent time recently researching the number of snaps the players have been in the lineup on offense, defense and special teams.
But Haley seems intent on finding ways to take some pressure off players like Flowers and safety Eric Berry, who between defense and special teams has played a substantial amount of snaps. He would also like to get more work from players the Chiefs might think are underutilized, like Battle and linebacker Andy Studebaker.
