Well, let’s call it a bye weekend, because that’s all the Cowboys really had off. With the newest addition to his family —[link widoczny dla zalogowanych] Jr.,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], born on June 25 of this year —[link widoczny dla zalogowanych] said that just being able to spend time with little Dez was all he wanted to do. That and staying healthy.

After spending a reported $54,896 on dinner for his Dallas Cowboys teammates, how did rookie wide receiver [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] spend his first NFL bye week?
“I’m going to play as hard as I can, as always, and I am hopeful that I will make a few big plays while I am wearing pink on my shoes and gloves.” Said [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. He added that he was inspired watching the other NFL guys wearing pink last year and that he couldn’t wait to be a part of something that was bigger than football. “To me, it is an honor to be able to wear pink and be a part of something that means so much to so many people.”
Baby Dez isn’t mobile just yet, so [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] said father and son “spent a lot of time watching the NFL Network.” [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] said he didn’t want to do much aside from relaxing and preparing for the Titans, this Sunday’s opponent.
Cowboys’ rookie Bryant ready to get back to work
[link widoczny dla zalogowanych] might have a little extra motivation this weekend. He is one of many players donning pink gear in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the NFL’s Crucial Catch campaign.
Breast cancer touched [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] personally this year when his good friend and advisor, David Wells, lost his sister, Michelle Wells Milton, to breast cancer. In addition to the cleats and gloves, [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] hinted he might have something special in store to honor his friend’s sister.
“Right now I’m trying to learn how to be a very good pro football player,” said the rookie first-round pick from Oklahoma State. “That and my son are my main priorities in life right now.”
