North Carolina coach [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] says there's no indication the ongoing NCAA investigation into the football team has any connection to his men's basketball program.
During the team's preseason media day Thursday, [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] said the probe was "not on my mind" and that his program does a good job in monitoring any player interaction with sports agents.
The NCAA is investigating agent-related benefits and possible academic violations involving a tutor within the football program.
[link widoczny dla zalogowanych] says the school had researched his players and reviewed their e-mails along with those of the team's academic support advisor. He says the school hasn't requested any meetings with him or his players and that "I haven't heard one thing whatsoever" to create concern.
