Hexi New Town is expected to be the new center and symbol of the modern city of Nanjing. It has a total area of about 94 sq km, of which 56 square kilometers is land area, along with the Jiangxin islet, the Qian islet and 38 sq km of the Yangtze River. Huaqiao International Service Business Park is situated in the Kunshan Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, on the border between Shanghai Municipality and Jiangsu Province. Covering an area of 50 square kilometers, the Park was listed by the provincial party committee and government as one of the demonstration zones specializing in modern services and one of the major projects of the province's "11th Five-Year Plan". As one of the financial hubs of the province,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Park was approved as a provincial development zone in 2006 and provincial demonstration zone of international outsourcing services in 2007.
