My life is fantastic. Why? Because I just splurged on chocolate. This simple indulgence may be the key to global happiness.
For years, I was a throw-away chocolate girl. I’d buy any supermarket candy with a shiny wrapper. Much like our younger selves who could wear uncomfortable shoes or get away with $5 sunglasses, we could be happy with factory chocolate. But now I’ve seen the light, or rather,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the dark. Dark chocolate that is.
After having quality choco goods thrusted on me by some Russian friends,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I was hooked and hunting for more. I found this great article from Food & Wine magazine’s Pete Wells where he raves about Italian chocolate brand,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Amedei. The man traveled from New York to Italy just to try this chocolate. I had to find some. After a few web searches and a heavy wallet hit (it’s about $12 for a small chocolate bar,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!), I scored. The order arrived today and I think I’m in heaven. I feel like someone who owns a Ford and just got to test drive a Ferrari. I don’t think I can go back to regular chocolate. Ever.
